PRODUCTS / BOILERS

The biomass fired boilers designed by KEM pays special attention to the known problems associated with burning biomass.

To prevent these known problems a number of factors are taken into consideration:

- Ensuring a controlled, efficient and calm combustion
- Careful design of the superheaters and fluegas temperatures with respect to ash/slag characteristics.
- Custom designed for each application (size and fuel type).

All boilers designed by KEM is equipped with the following equipment to ensure stabilized steam conditions, low emissions and high lifetime:

- Superheaters with parallel pipes and high pitch for reduced fouling.
- High residence time of the combustion gases
- High quality armature from known brands

Complete biomass fired steam boiler with capacity of 20 t/h steam at 45,8 bar, 450°C.

PHILLIPPINES
Supply of two biomass fired steam boilers with capacity of 11,5 t/h steam at 28 bar, 400°C.

TERRAS DE SANTA MARIA (PT)
Complete biomass fired steam boiler using wood chips and cork powder as fuel, for producing 42 t/h steam at 60 bar, 450°C.
