2 x 11,5 t/h biomass fired steam boiler
KEM A/S has been awarded a contract for supply of two biomass fired steam boilers for
two rice mills in Phillippines.
The scope of supply
includes a.o. the following main items: -
- Fuel feeding system
- Air cooled mechanical step grate
- Steam boiler (11,5 t/h, 28 bar(g), 400°C)
- Air preheater
- Combustion air system incl. fans, ducts and damper system
- Steel structures, platforms and stairs.
The plant will be designed
to use rice husk biomass to generate steam for power generation by steam
turbine as well as thermal energy for drying. The project
will be supplied during 2009.
